Since 1945, Intoximeters, Inc. has been pioneers in manufacturing and developing law enforcement grade, evidential breath alcohol analyzers to assist in DUI enforcement. But our story begins even before the company was founded.  In 1937, Dr. Glenn C. Forrester discovered and patented a process for capturing alcohol from a breath sample.  The result was the development of a portable, roadside instrument used to collect evidence in suspected drunk driving cases.  Eight years later, Dr. Forrester founded Intoximeters and today, second and third generation family members own and operate our business.
