MISSION STATEMENT
The (ISC)2 Baltimore Chapter is dedicated to the advancement of the information system security profession by offering educational sessions and acting as a conduit for connecting information system security professionals with each other for collaboration and research and with the local community through charity and awareness initiatives.

WHAT WE DO
We provide an environment for peer networking for credentialed professionals as well as credential seeking professionals to promote professional development opportunities to members and other information security specialists within their local communities to further the goals of information security.

ABOUT US
In November 2011 (ISC)2 granted a chapter charter petition for a chapter in Maryland. After much work on May 14, 2012  (ISC)2 approved the official charter for the Baltimore Chapter (Chapter #28).

The Baltimore Chapter came about to provide peer networking for (ISC)2 credentialed professionals as well as non-credentialed professionals. To promote professional development opportunities to members and other information security specialists within their local communities to further the goals of information security.
