JCAL is a multidisciplinary urban arts center based in Jamaica, Queens, operating from a neo-Renaissance building once known as the Queens Register of Titles and Deeds. It provides education, performing arts, and visual arts programs and houses a 1,650-square-foot visual arts gallery, a 99-seat theater, multiple painting and dance studios, a ceramics studio, a computer lab, and a renovated music studio. The organization serves a diverse audience and enrolls more than 35,000 participants annually across its workshops, performances, exhibitions, residencies, film screenings, lectures, and after-school or summer programs. In 2025, JCAL announced a partnership with Anewjfk to develop a program, reflecting its ongoing collaboration with other organizations to expand its offerings.
