Since 1990, James + Associates has provided quality design services and innovative solutions. During this time the firm as experienced steady growth, and has developed expertise in many areas of survey, planning, civil engineering design, and computer applications. The small size of our firm has not limited its ability to successfully complete large and small projects of varying complexity, but has enhanced its ability to provide personal attention and agile responsiveness. 

James + Associates boasts two fully staffed offices, one in Nashville, Tennessee and the other in Dickson, Tennessee. These offices are conveniently located in the mid-State area, close to our clients and jurisdictional authorities. The staff, which averages around 20-25, includes Professional Engineers, Engineer Interns, Registered Land Surveyors, CADD Technicians, and other support professionals. Currently, James + Associates has five employees that are TDEC Level 1 certified for construction site inspection, three employees that are TDEC Level 2 certified and two employees that are CPESC certified in erosion and sediment control design and permit development. Additional firm qualifications include two employees with TDOT CEI course certifications and one employee with LEED AP BD+C certification.
