Jenkins & James Insurance was founded in March 1992 by Chuck Jenkins and Pat James.  As an Independent Agency, we contract with multiple insurance companies in order to provide our customers with many options and choices. This allows us to custom design coverage and protection for each of our clients to their individual needs. We don’t have to make one size fit all.  

The Agency has evolved and grown over the years with the addition of partner Barry McCullough and the retirement of Pat James.  Today, Chuck and Barry jointly own and continue to run the Agency’s daily operations. With perseverance and hard work, we have grown through constant attention to our customers and our community.  This has allowed us to develop first rate insurance company partners: Allied Insurance, Travelers, Progressive, Hartford, Cameron Insurance Companies and Barton County Mutual among others. Our growth has also allowed for the development of an excellent staff of customer service agents and producer specialists.  We are very proud of our employee family, our insurance company partners, and our long term dedication to our customers. 

Jenkins & James Insurance Agency concentrates on personal lines protection, such as,  auto and home insurance.  We also work with business owners and contractors in commercial insurance lines, and have some availability to life and health insurance products as well.
