JOBE CORRAL ARCHITECTS specializes in highly crafted and well-built residential structures, using authentic materials. We also selectively design civic and commercial spaces. In all cases, our approach is rooted in the beauty of the site and in the experience of place. Consideration of the individual moments and experiences of daily life is a theme in our design approach that brings a warmth and texture to our projects. Our work can be found in both urban and rural settings, from the acclaimed Modern Rammed-Earth House in the Texas Hill Country, to the complete renovation of an historic 19th century headmaster’s home overlooking Austin, and a prestigious Trail Foundation project along the Butler Trail on Lady Bird Lake in Austin. Designing for the site, for the light, and for how our clients actually live in and use a space are all defining aspects of the firm. Our work resonates with clients for whom the experience of place is essential.
