Founded in 1986 by James Hammond Sr., J&S Tool, Inc has grown considerably since its early days as a small tool sharpening shop.  In 2000, Shane Hammond purchased the company from his father and continued their established pursuit of excellence and innovation.  A willingness to experiment and invent over the years has given J&S distinctive abilities with prototyping, reverse engineering, and complex multifunction tool designs. Some of the industries J&S currently services include Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Metal Fabricators, Mill Working, Tool & Die, and General Machine Shops.

Located in O'Fallon, Missouri, J&S Tool, Inc specializes in the reconditioning, modification, and manufacturing of cutting tools, including customized and multifunction tool designs.  Whether in small quantities or high production volume, J&S can develop, grind, or regrind tools to tight tolerances with consistent accuracy.  For fixtures, cutter bodies, and a variety of other custom pieces, J&S also houses a complete machine shop.  In addition to these in house capabilities, J&S offers automated tool crib systems for managing and securing valuable tool inventories.  From basic reconditioning to reverse engineering, J&S Tool, Inc provides unique solutions for any tooling need.
