When a soldier is first wounded on the field of battle the medic in his unit contacts the nearest base hospital and requests an immediate medical evacuation of the wounded soldier. The medic is then required to provide nine lines of information (location, radio frequency, number of patients and criticality, special equipment, security at pick up site, method of marking site, patient nationality, and NBC contamination) in order for the helicopter to respond to rescue that soldier from the battlefield. 
We are K-9 Line.  We not only intend on rescuing our returning veterans, Gold Star families, and Contractors who served the U.S. overseas, to adjust to their new life at home, but we use canines rescued from local animal shelters (or companion canines when possible) to provide them the help, resources, and support they need.
