Founded in Honolulu, Hawai’i in 1936 by George Brangier and Nat Norfleet, Kahala was the first company to manufacture and wholesale aloha shirts. Since then, we’ve continued to spread the Aloha spirit with our unique textiles and artwork. We’re family owned, community minded and committed to manufacturing the majority of our collection locally.
 
With over 80 years of history under our belt, we’ve designed countless prints, each one like a time capsule for that era.
