Many industrial cleaning methods consist of high pressure, high volume water. Not only is this wasteful, but the sludge is left inside the building to be cleaned up. Most of these applications use a water blaster that will need 30-50 gallons of water for each minute of use. If it takes 20 minutes to clean 1 piece of equipment and you have to clean 40 per week, you will be using anywhere from 1.2 to 2 million gallons of water per year. Our process uses dry ice pellets, so there would be no water usage cost to your company. Less time, less water and waste = More Production and Profit For food processors, dry ice blasting has been documented by the Food Standards Agency to effectively decontaminate surfaces of Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria. At the same time dry ice blasting does not release harmful gases into the atmosphere.
