We are driven by our customer’s needs and always strive to discover new products, systems and technologies that will move us into the future—because the future is really where it’s at.

Kimal Lumber opened in 1981 during a recession year, and was founded by Al Bavry and Kim Pavkovich (both came from Wickes Lumber). Kim and Al became the partners “KimAl” and the business began with 9 employees.   Since then the company has grown steadily from its inception into 6 separate locations, including a Exterior Window and Door Plant, a Design Center/Showroom, an Engineered Wood/Truss Division, and a drive-thru  Lumberyard in Sarasota, Florida. In 2018 we were acquired by Gulfeagle Supply Company, headquarters in Tampa. 

We know our customers like to shop where they’re made to feel welcome and their materials get to the job on time. This is the value we add to everything we sell.
