Kinetic Buildings simplifies the process of saving energy and reducing operational costs in commercial buildings by deploying software that automatically identifies inefficient and faulty operation of the building systems.  This software utilizes proprietary machine learning algorithms to automate and reduce the cost and hassle presently associated with ensuring efficient operation of building systems.

Commercial buildings represent nearly one-fifth of all energy consumption in developed countries, of which over 40% is estimated to be spent on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).  Faulty operation of these systems is conservatively estimated to account for 25%-30% of total HVAC energy that is entirely avoidable with the implementation of effective building diagnostic tools. While these data are widely accepted by the industry, building diagnostics tools have not been widely adopted due primarily to the high upfront costs and inconsistent accuracy of many existing solutions.  Kinetic Buildings’ solution solves overcomes the hurdles to providing a building operator with “actionable” information about commercial building operation at a much lower price than what is presently available on the market.

Kinetic Buildings’ solution is a fully automated product that can provide energy and cost savings with higher accuracy and lower upfront costs than any existing solutions.  The reason behind this is simple; we take the analysis and decision-making that is presently performed by experts in the field, and embed this intelligence into a series of self-tuning algorithms.
