KT Power Systems was established in 1973, incorporated in August of 1978, in the State of Missouri. The business office is located in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. The business was started forty-five years ago to specialize in commercial and industrial electrical work. It is now controlled by the second generation of Joe Koch’s family who was one of the founding owners and is now led by his daughter Robin Koch Tolbert. Joe and his wife Jeana have been the core of the company since day one and are still an integral part of the daily business operations. The company was built on old fashion sweat equity and continues to grow based on that principle and the guiding leadership of Robin Tolbert. After obtaining her Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia, Robin became key to the continued growth and success of the business by providing additional expertise needed for future prosperity. KT Power Systems works on all phases of electrical construction, including high voltage, new construction and remodeling, highway signals and lighting, factory new construction and remodeling, school new construction and remodeling and commercial projects.
