Based in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, KTR provides multi-discipline construction, commissioning, maintenance and welding services for the oil and gas and energy sectors. Its Aktau facility functions as a major welding complex with a line conveyor, dedicated welding stations, non-destructive testing, and coating lines. Its Atyrau center hosts repair workshops for pumps and seals (authorized by Flowserve) and electric motors (authorized by Siemens), as well as gas-turbine repair, an ASME-certified welding shop, and a machinery workshop equipped with CNC capabilities. It maintains a substantial field footprint at the Tengiz oilfield, including a large fleet of machinery, a mobilized workforce and a site base with workshop, warehouse, offices and a camp for about 500 personnel. 

To broaden its service offerings into EPC, the company formed a permanent joint venture with Tecnimont S.p.A., Tecnimont-KTR LLP, combining KTR's construction expertise with Tecnimont's EPC experience to address oil, gas and energy projects in Kazakhstan while emphasizing safety, quality and cost control. Another collaboration with EthosEnergy under the KTR-Ethos JV has a significant footprint in Kazakhstan, notably in Kashagan, where gas turbines and compressors have been serviced since 2013 under LTSA, and the arrangement has been recognized for HSE contributions, quality and timely delivery.
