Dick Dillon, the founder of Dillon Stores, developed the Kwik Shop convenience store concept in 1960. These stores combined the time-saving personalized service of a small store with supermarket efficiency in management, inventory control, and merchandising. Since the grand opening in 1960, Kwik Shop grew to be a 127 convenience store chain. All Kwik Shop convenience stores were purchased by EG Group in 2018 and now operate under our subsidiary company, EG America.
