The Lafayette International Center operates as the international division of the Lafayette Consolidated Government, based in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was created in October 1989 and opened to the public in April 1990, in Lafayette's former city hall building. The center brings together a range of trade-related resources to support interaction among local and visiting foreign trade development officials and businesspeople.

Its core aim is to foster international commerce and tourism in the Lafayette area by helping develop new markets and strengthen relationships with trade and tourism partners. Following the 1996 merger of city and parish administrations, the center became a division within the Executive Office of the Lafayette Consolidated Government.
