Lee Construction Company of the Carolinas, Inc (Lee) has been in business since 1935 in Charlotte, performing construction work in the commercial, industrial, municipal, highway and private sectors in North & South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia. Lee is a qualified General Contractor with the NC DOT under License Number 40139, unlimited and unclassified. Since 1997, Lee has been a wholly owned subsidiary of W.C. English, Inc, Lynchburg, VA. Lee is currently managing construction of bridge projects in North and South Carolina. These projects include highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, culverts, and design build projects. Lee’s emphasis in business is using knowledge of the industry and Lee Construction Company of the Carolinas, Inc (Lee) has been in experience in heavy civil contracting to produce a complete project for the customer.
