Since 1977, the Leesburg Regional Medical Center Foundation has supported the Hospital's high-quality medical services, programs and growing needs. The Foundation provides opportunities for everyone in our community to be involved in supporting those who save lives, care for new life, restore health and ensure a healthier future. Contributions to the Foundation support direct care to those who are uninsured or underinsured, new equipment, scholarships for local nursing students, programs and facilities.

Although the foundation has expanded with the growth of our community, its commitment to supporting health care in our community has remained the same as it was more than three decades ago. Over the past five years, the Albert & Helen Elleck Nursing Endowment has awarded more than 20 scholarships to enable recipients to pursue careers at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Our not-for-profit philanthropic organization is under the direction of a CEO and board of directors. These dedicated men and women believe that philanthropic support of excellence in health care enhances the lives of our patients, their families and the community. Many people who have first-hand experience with our doctors and nurses simply want to open their hearts to the needs of others and extend the gift of exceptional health care to their neighbors.
