Libera Partners is a financial services outfit established to provide advisory, business development and strategic support to investors, owners and managers of mid-cap businesses, especially in African and other frontier markets. Our mission is to constantly exceed the expectation of our stakeholders (investors, partners, shareholders, and clients) in the business of creating value through the development of business opportunities in emerging markets. We do this by looking for ways to use creative investment structures, business paradigms, and project engagements that maximize value while focusing on alignment of interests. 

Libera Partners is led by Okezie Ofoegbu, who was until recently a Vice-President at Emerging Capital Partners, a $1.6 billion private equity fund manager focused on Africa. He is supported by a team with over 25 years of aggregate experience in principal investment and business development.  The team has led investments in four of the six continents of the world with emphasis in frontier markets, raising or investing over $500 million in these transactions. Through successfully investing and monitoring investments in relatively tough and volatile markets, the Libera team has acquired invaluable insights that enables us bring a unique perspective to transaction. The team has also developed a network of contacts and relationships with the top institutions providing institutional and developmental capital to projects across a broad spectrum of sectors.
