LifeNet exists to stop preventable deaths in sub-Saharan Africa, especially for mothers and children, by ensuring faith-based, community health facilities are equipped to provide compassionate and high quality healthcare. These facilities are the first, and often only, point of care that is accessible for the most under-resourced and isolated communities across the continent, providing 40% of health services here. LifeNet currently works with 450+ of these faith-based health facilities across 7 countries, including Burundi, Burkina Faso, DRC, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, and Ghana. LifeNet believes that every person deserves the opportunity to live whole and healthy lives, and our network is committed to delivering essential services to the most vulnerable, lowest quintile patients. We maintain international standards of care within safe and well-managed facilities thanks to ongoing training, tools and quality assurance which in turn greatly empower the local providers of this care. In 2024 alone, LifeNet’s network of health facilities saved the lives of over 2,100 mothers and more than 3,600 babies. This year, LifeNet celebrated 50 million patient visits since 2012- a remarkable milestone of providing compassionate, equitable care. Learn more at www.LNinternational.org.
