Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is a nonprofit, no-kill pet services organization based in Tempe, Arizona, founded in 2008 during the Phoenix-area foreclosure crisis. It focuses on keeping pets with the people who love them by providing support during crises such as homelessness, eviction, illness, financial hardship, and domestic violence, thereby reducing unnecessary shelter intakes. Through safety-net programs, it offers a Temporary Care Program that provides up to 90 days of free shelter for pets while their guardians access housing, medical care, or protection, and a First Responder Program that handles urgent 24/7 pet intakes. The organization reports substantial impact, including more than 2,200 pet–family reunifications, over 13,000 pet adoptions, and the distribution of more than 1.3 million meals through its Pet Food Bank. In November 2023, Lost Our Home expanded its operations to Tucson, Arizona, extending its reach beyond the Tempe area.
