LP Operating, LLC is an partner-focused oil & gas exploration and production company located in the Texas Hill Country and committed to developing trusted relationships and long-term projects. The company’s primary operations in the West Texas Permian Basin region. 

The owners of LP Operating, Monte Lang and Tim Philpot, have over 32 years combined experience in the energy industry. They have been directly involved in over 250 drilling opportunities ranging in depths from 2,500’ to over 19,000’ throughout the Gulf Coast Region, Permian Basin and the Fort Worth Basin along with the acquisition and reprocessing of over 3,000 square miles of 3-D seismic data.  

LP Operating LLC is a licensed operator with the Railroad Commission of Texas (#480178). 

LP Operating currently owns a subatantial lease position in a developmental drilling project that has been proven by a successful track record of producing every well drilled and recently amassed acreage in one of the fastest growing shale plays in the United Stated, which allows for future development of shallow resource reserves. LP Operating is the operator of both projects and controls 100% of daily operations.
