Margie Martin Luis is a Juris Doctor and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of accounting and business experience. Margie graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting and International Business from Florida International University (FIU) and was awarded Most Outstanding Student. She also graduated with a Masters of Science in Taxation from FIU. Margie then began her accounting career at Arthur Andersen and later continued at KPMG LLP (KPMG), having served as a Director of International Corporate Tax Services. While at KPMG, Margie graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, including tax courses part of the Masters of Law (LLM) program. Margie founded Luis Insurance in 2003 and is a Florida licensed property and casualty insurance agent (2-20) as well as a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA). Luis Insurance is MAPFRE Florida's only Preferred Agency and has been awarded Top Performer for its outstanding sales achievements.
