LulaKate is a local Charleston based clothing company featuring bridal, bridesmaid and cocktail dress collections. In 2003, owner Katherine McDonald began to design her own collection of simple, fun women’s clothing. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, she was inspired by the classic, graceful surroundings of her southern home. LulaKate met with great success and in 2007 Katherine opened her flagship store at 324 King Street in downtown Charleston. Originally LulaKate was a locally based clothing company featuring skirts, tops, and belts for women. Since 2003 the company has evolved and we have shifted focus solely to our bridesmaid and cocktail dress collection. LulaKate creates the perfect made-to-order dresses for bridal parties, rehearsal dinners, and other fabulous events. From the time you place your order, until we receive it from our seamstresses, your dresses will be treated with great care and attention. LulaKate dresses have become synonymous with chic, southern elegance. We are continuing to create flattering silhouettes and adding to the grace and sound design of each style.
