Starting as Tomlinson Brothers Saw Mill in 1949, Lumber Mart went through many changes in the 27 years prior to becoming the Lumber Mart, Inc. that we know today in 1983 when Bob Peabody took sole ownership.
 
Today, Lumber Mart, Inc. can be found in two locations. Lumber Mart East located in East Grand Forks, Minnesota and Lumber Mart West located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Lumber Mart East is known for it’s truss shop and handling all of the companies deliveries. Lumber Mart West has the same knowledgeable help but stands out for its cabinetry designers and displays. At Lumber Mart, Inc. we believe that with todays technology interconnection between the two locations is at our fingertips.
 
Lumber Mart, Inc. services a general building trade within a 75-mile radius and has over time changed from a strictly contractor oriented business to a contractor and retail business.
