Our Story

Founded in 1898 by Morris A. Green, Lux Bond & Green began as a humble venture—selling pocket watches and gold eyeglass frames from a horse-drawn cart in Waterbury, Connecticut. In 1932, the second generation of the Green family acquired Lux Bond & Lux Jewelers in downtown Hartford, renaming it Lux Bond & Green. Now in its fourth and fifth generation of family leadership, our company has grown to encompass six premier locations across New England.

From its modest beginnings, Lux Bond & Green has evolved into a trusted name in luxury, with locations in West Hartford Center, Somerset Square in Glastonbury, Main Street in Westport, The Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino, Central Street in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and a new store opening in Mystic, Connecticut, in 2026.
