Masters Home Improvement operated in the Australian retail sector as a joint venture between Woolworths Limited and the US home improvement chain Lowes, established in January 2009. The business expanded to 63 large-format stores nationwide and offered a transactional website supporting delivery or Click & Collect before all stores were closed in December 2016 as the partners exited the Australian market. Based in Australia, the venture targeted consumers seeking home improvement products through a dedicated retail network and online platform. The industry positioning reflected a convergence of traditional large-format hardware retail with e-commerce capabilities, though the venture ultimately ceased operations in the country. A notable recent development was the full closure of all stores in December 2016 as part of the market exit.” } }{ } }{ } } }{ } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } } }
