In 1968, Maui Electric Company was purchased by Hawaiian Electric Company. The energy we use is an essential but limited resource necessary to maintaining our quality of life. In a changing world, Maui Electric Company along with its parent company, Hawaiian Electric Company, has evolved to offer more than electricity. Today, we provide energy solutions to help customers save money and use energy more efficiently.
