Mechtell provides support services primarily to the electric power generation industry.  We have considerable expertise in resolving vibration and balancing problems on large turbine generators.  We also support large turbine-generator maintenance with high precision measurement and alignment services.  We go beyond data acquisition.  Our experience enables us to provide in-depth assistance to customer problem resolution. 

Mechtell uses photogrammetry and laser tracker techniques to make high accuracy 3 dimensional measurements of large components. We measure features, relative positions, and distortion of components and assemblies. Our techniques combine all measured targets (features , elements) into a single three dimensional model allowing us to obtain dimensions that are difficult to measure directly.

Mechtell uses in-house designed vibration monitoring equipment (TurboBalancer 4) for vibration analysis and balancing.  We have the experience to help you deal with your machine vibration issues, whether that involves balance shot calculations, alignment and/or bearing loading, soft feet, or other concerns.
