Mendez Engineering was founded on January 10, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas by Ray Méndez, PE, CFM.  Our firm is a Minority/Veteran Owned Small Business based here in San Antonio, Texas with 8-years of experience in San Antonio and its surrounding area.  As a young emerging firm our firm’s president has over 23-years of experience as a civil engineer and project manager.

The South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA) has certified Mendez Engineering as an Emerging Small Business Enterprise (ESBE), Hispanic American Business Enterprise (HABE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE).

State Certification:
The South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency has also certified Mendez Engineering as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and a Disadvantaged Business Entity (DBE).

Federal Certification:
The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs Center of Veterans Enterprise has certified Mendez Engineering as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
