The Metal Museum, based in Memphis, Tennessee, is the only U.S. institution dedicated exclusively to the art and craft of fine metalwork. It advances this focus through exhibitions, a substantial permanent collection, studio practice, and community education and engagement, all housed on a 3.2-acre campus. Its facilities include a Blacksmith Shop, Foundry, Library and Resource Center, and private artist residences, and the collection comprises over 3,000 objects spanning contemporary hollowware, sculpture, and studio jewelry as well as historic pieces dating to the Renaissance.

The museum serves a broad audience, including visitors, artists, researchers, and other stakeholders, by preserving works, staging rotating contemporary metalwork exhibitions, and offering weekend metalworking demonstrations. In November 2025 the institution acquired the former Memphis College of Art building to support a multi-use facility for exhibitions, collections, and programming.
