Since its founding in 1949, the mission of Minnesota Community Foundation has remained constant through a period of rapid change. Our mission is to serve the people of Minnesota by building charitable capital, making philanthropic grants and providing other services that contribute to the health and vitality of the community. 

Together Minnesota Community Foundation and its affiliate The Saint Paul Foundation manage assets of more than $900 million. 

As two community foundations with one direction, we can bring more voices and more resources to issues that demand attention. Closer strategic alignment enables us to share information and develop best practices to impact important issues facing our communities.
