PT Catur Mitra Sejati Sentosa (CMSS) – anak usaha dari PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana (CSA) yang bergerak di bidang distributor bahan bangunan - melahirkan konsep belanja bahan bangunan dalam satu atap pertama di Indonesia dengan nama Mitra10. Sebagai langkah antisipasi terhadap era globalisasi dan pasar bebas AFTA pada tahun 2003, dimana semua negara Asia bisa berbisnis secara bebas di negara anggota seperti di negara sendiri, maka memasuki bisnis retail dirasakan penting demi memperkuat jaringan, bertahan, dan berkembang lebih pesat lagi.

Pada tahun awal berdirinya, 1997-1998, Mitra10 membuka 10 supermarket di Jabodetabek. Dalam perkembangannya dan dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat, Mitra10 memperluas jaringannya dengan membuka toko di sejumlah tempat dan kota lainnya. Di wilayah Timur, tahun 2001 Mitra10 membuka cabang di Bali, tahun 2002 membuka cabang di Surabaya, Batam tahun 2005, Medan tahun 2008, tahun 2009 dibuka toko kedua di Bypass Kuta Bali, tahun 2012 dibuka toko di Bogor.
