Founded in 1976 as a small company specializing in Italian ship model kits, Model Expo has grown into one of the largest hobby suppliers in the USA. In addition to importing the best hobby products Europe has to offer, Model Expo produces a line of historic ship model kits, airplanes and metal cannon. Much of the work is performed in its own facilities. Computer-driven laser machines cut basswood components to exact dimensions. Master craftsman cast incredibly detailed metal parts in its foundry. Model Expo also carries hundreds of hand and power tools to help its customers build the most impressive models.
