Murray State College, is a public, co-educational community college located in southeastern Oklahoma with campuses in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The college is named in honor of former Oklahoma Governor William H. "Alfalfa Bill" Murray. The College’s mission is to provide opportunities for student learning, personal growth, professional success and community enhancement. Murray State College offers associate degrees in science, arts and applied science. A bachelor's degree in gunsmithing technology is now offered as well. Murray State College serves a ten-county area which includes Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc counties. With campuses in Tishomingo and Ardmore, MSC serves more than 3,000 students annually.
