Five years ago they embarked on designing a solution to automate the process of delivering online orders to consumers from a collection point.

Myrmex, initially self funded, was incorporated in Delaware USA on Feb 2015.

Received venture funding in June 2015.

Completed first release of its patent pending solution in May 2016.

Before the Myrmex acquisition by Ocado Technology, Myrmex Inc Greek Branch Office (Attica –Greece) joined the Action "RESEARCH - CREATE - INNOVATE" (Second Round) total public expenditure of € 200 million. The Action aims to link research and innovation with entrepreneurship and to enhance the competitiveness, productivity, and extroversion of companies to international markets, to transition to quality innovative entrepreneurship, and to increase domestic added value.

The Project Title is «Intelligent Robotic System of Integrated Fleet and Mini Loads for the Supply Chain of e-Commerce» (Acronyme: IRIFLESC Code: Τ2ΕΔΚ-02986). The total project budget is 596.850,00€, and public expenditure is 398.820,00€, co-financed by the Greek State and the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
