The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) is a professional association that represents school psychologists, graduate students, and related professionals in the United States and in about 25 other countries. It is recognized as the largest global association of school psychologists. The organization promotes evidence-based practices intended to improve students' learning, behavior, and mental health. Based in Bethesda, Maryland, NASP pursues a vision whereby all children and youth thrive in school, at home, and throughout life. NASP provides resources for members and the broader field, including information on certification, conventions, and publications, as well as guidance on becoming a school psychologist.
