In September 2022, Groupe Touchette Inc. ("Groupe Touchette") has completed its acquisition of National Tire Distributors ("NTD"), a subsidiary of American Tire Distributors ("ATD"), following regulatory clearance. This strengthens Groupe Touchette's position in the Canadian tire industry, expanding its service offerings and geographical reach. With NTD's integration, Groupe Touchette now:

- Operates a coast-to-coast distribution network

- Expands product categories

The acquisition enhances Groupe Touchette's retail banner options, now including Tirecraft, Tireland/Ici Pneu, Integra Tire, and Pneu Select, totaling over 900 locations. The company remains headquartered in Montreal, with a national support center in Burlington, Ontario. The deal also establishes a commercial partnership with ATD, supplying proprietary tires and technology to benefit stakeholders. Jefferies LLC advised Groupe Touchette on the transaction, with legal counsel provided by Dentons Canada LLP and Prévost Fortin D'Aoust LLP. Ernst and Young and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP assisted with financing.

Founded in 1979 by André Touchette, Groupe Touchette specializes in tire distribution services, serving manufacturers, car dealers, and independent customers across Canada. Led by Nicolas Touchette and Frédéric Bouthillier, the company operates over 50 distribution centers and multiple retail banners, including Tirecraft, Integra Tire, Tireland/Ici Pneu, and more.
