Neversoft was founded in 1994 by three former employees of Malibu Interactive. Neversoft teamed up initially with Playmates Interactive Entertainment (a division of Playmates Toys) to develop a title based on the toy line "Skeleton Warriors." That was just the beginning. Soon after, Neversoft was developing titles for Crystal Dynamics and Sony Computer Entertainment. But it wasn't until the beginning of 1998 that Neversoft teamed up with Activision to work on the title "Apocalypse." This began the relationship that would soon end up being a permanent partnership, when Activision purchased Neversoft in 1999. Neversoft operates out of a 50,000 square foot space located in the Warner Center area of Woodland Hills, California. We are a short drive away to some of California’s most beautiful and famous beaches, two hours away from the snow, and close to awesome hiking trails right off Topanga Canyon. What was once a warehouse has been converted into game development central for Neversoft featuring sky lights, big open halls, retired E3 booth art, skateboards and rock memorabilia covering every wall. Neversoft has four large conference rooms, three kitchen areas with a main dining hall, an in-house motion capture facility, six audio bays, a voice-over/foley room, ping pong table, and pool table. There’s parking right next to our building which helps make your daily arrival into Neversoft easy. We hire some of the most talented game developers in the industry so it begins with you. We treat our employees well so they can focus on developing one of the biggest franchises in video game history. At Neversoft, you are part of a single team with one clear goal – to make the coolest games possible. If you think you might fit in with our team, we’d like to hear from you!
