Imperial Electric is a custom manufacturer of special application AC and DC motor systems (motors and drives; motors and generators; motors and gearboxes) for the elevator/escalator, commercial floor care, commercial food equipment and hose reel markets. Celebrating 100 years in business in 2008, Imperial’s complete line of products now include permanent magnet motors, gear motors, AC and DC elevator motors, AC induction motors, generator sets, vacuum motors, transaxles, wheel drives, gear boxes, special reducers, and gearing.

Imperial Electric is an operating unit of Kinetek and the driving force behind Kinetek’s ISE Group, which, in addition to Imperial Electric, includes Scott DC Power Products and Euclid Universal.

Scott DC Power Products designs and manufactures compact, high performing permanent magnet DC electric motors for low voltage applications. Euclid Universal leads the way in the power transmission field by designing and building gear drives for special applications.
