NIRA Consulting Engineers, Inc. was established in 1975. NIRA is a progressive consulting firm based in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The Corporation was founded on the belief that to achieve excellence and client satisfaction, all projects must be under the direct supervision of at least one of the principals of the firm. It was further believed that these objectives could be realized best through a mid-sized firm, staffed with highly skilled, dedicated and experienced professionals.

The foresight of this concept has proved to be sound and accurate, as NIRA has experienced a steady and controlled growth.
