NorthBay Health is a nonprofit health care system serving Solano County since 1960. It operates two hospitals in Fairfield and Vacaville, a primary and specialty care medical group, the NorthBay Cancer Center, and a medical fitness facility on its campus. The organization is part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network and pursues a mission to improve community wellbeing by providing accessible, high-quality care. NorthBay VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville is a 50-bed site that provides 24-hour emergency care, intensive and acute care, advanced surgical and diagnostic services, and hosts the Joint Replacement Program and wound care services. The Wellness Center, opened in 2016 on the same campus, includes the cancer center, a fitness facility, and cardiac rehabilitation; the system also operates three Center for Primary Care locations and additional specialty offices in both cities.
