Northeast Center for Youth and Families (NCYF) operates in the field of individual and family services. Its history traces back to 1972 when it began as the Advocate Program and later operated as Tri-County Youth Programs, reflecting a shift toward more compassionate, community-based care for at-risk youth. Today it runs a statewide network of licensed specialized foster homes serving about 105-115 foster children daily, operates three Therapeutic Day Programs, two Springfield residential programs housing up to 24 residents, and CBHI services that include in-home therapy, training and support, and mentoring for over 200 families each year; it also obtained an outpatient mental health clinic license in 2013. The organization is based in Easthampton, Massachusetts, and delivers services across the region. A notable recent development is the January 2025 launch of a client portal and mobile application to improve access to services and records.
