Novak Insurance Agency is independently owned and locally operated to handle your insurance needs. We believe that experienced insurance agencies can best serve your insurance needs. In 1953, the late Harry Novak left his family owned grocery business to start his own insurance agency in the basement of his home in University Heights, Ohio. He built the business there until his oldest son; Ira Novak joined the agency in 1962. Ira’s younger brother Jeffrey joined the business years later. After his father and brother left Novak Insurance in 1979, Ira ran Novak Insurance as the sole agent until 1996, when his youngest son, Ryan joined the agency after his graduation from Indiana University.

Ryan helped grow the business by obtaining insurance licenses in 33 states and launching a program selling insurance nationwide. In 2003, Ryan’s older brother Craig joined the agency and with the expansion of our carrier list to include multiple national carriers, they are successfully selling multiple lines of insurance all across the USA.
