The agency was founded in 1943 by Salvador Pappalardo and a partner. In 1973, the total agency ownership was bought by the Pappalardo Family. Sal passed in 1987 but the ownership remains vested in his family.

Albert, Sal’s son, has served as agency President since 1973. During his tenure he has served as the Professional Insurance Agents State President and on the Greater New Orleans Independent Insurance Agents board. Al’s son Al, Jr. serves as the current agency Vice President and also serves on many association boards – the third generation goes on strong. The agency celebrated its 66th birthday last year, no small feat for agencies today.

Stability, personal service to the client, and excellent insurance company relationships are the strong points of the agency. It has represented its two lead personal lines companies over 60 and 43 years respectively.

Since 1992 we have been active in the Northlake parishes of St. Tammany and Tangipahoa parishes. 2003 brought an increased presence and stability to this market with Al, Jr. moving his family to Mandeville.
