Parkwood Healthcare was formed in 1997 following the acquisition of 2 established nursing agencies which had been operating for more than 10 years.


Since then Parkwood Healthcare have diversified and now encompass both Parkwood Nurses and a number of Healthy Living Services.  Being a relatively small company allows us to be more responsive and flexible to individual clients but have the added advantage of the full support and operational expertise of Parkwood Holdings.

Our 2 branches of Parkwood Nurses cover all areas of London and the East of England.  We supply nurses and healthcare assistants to many specialities including general; mental health; substance misuse; learning disabilities; community (both general and psychiatry); nursing homes and hospices.  We also provide a health screening service to many organisations to promote healthy living and identify those at risk of cardiovascular disease.

Our Clients include NHS Trusts, the private and voluntary sector and many have been using our services for more than 15 years.  This loyalty reflects the cost-effective service we provide and the quality of our staff.  Some clients use us on an ongoing basis to cover hard to fill vacancies whilst others use us occasionally for sickness and holiday cover.  We can provide staff for ongoing work as well as ad hoc, last-minute shifts.

We believe in providing a quality service at all times and this quality is reflected in our most recent audit by the NHS where we gained platinum status (>95% compliance).  We won’t let you down.
