Pennell Consulting Inc. (PCI) was founded in 2000 and quickly built a reputation for exceptional engineering of electrical and low voltage electronics systems.  PCI serves a variety of clients, performing electrical studies and designs for commercial, correctional, educational, governmental (county, state, and federal), institutional, light industrial, and municipal facilities and campuses.  Our services include site investigation of each facility, assessment of the existing state of the electrical and electronics systems, and recommendations for improvements in the existing conditions.

Our designs have set the standard for facilities integrating the latest proven technologies while maintaining the safety, security, and welfare of our clients and their staff.

PCI has extensive experience designing electrical systems for a wide variety of clients, ranging from county and state facilities, public utilities, to private clients in the commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors.

PCI’s design approach emphasizes integrating the requirements of each Owner’s facility with the local region’s operational requirements into a design that is aesthetic, cost effective and delivered on time.  Robert C. Pennell, P.E. is Principal-in-Charge and overall project manager of PCI.

Our involvement on projects ranges from the traditional design/bid/build to design/build (D/B) and construction management at risk (CMAR) delivery systems. 

PCI is capable in all aspects of your project from site investigation, cost estimating and budgeting, scheduling, production of coordinated design documents, quality management, code compliance and verification, and construction administration.
