Based in San Francisco, the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale is a performing arts organization that presents historically informed performances of music from the Baroque, Classical, and Early Romantic periods, as well as contemporary works. The ensemble seeks an authentic sound by employing instruments and vocal practices appropriate to the era, aiming to convey the style, spirit, and distinctive character of those works.
