PILLAR America, Inc. is a proud subsidiary of PILLAR Corporation, headquartered in Osaka, Japan. PILLAR America was established in July 1999 in Tustin, CA, as the U.S. branch of PILLAR Corporation, which has been an industry leader in sealing technologies for 100 years.

Since developing the world’s first semi-metallic cylindrical packing for steamboats in 1924, PILLAR Corporation has remained at the forefront of the global sealing industry. Our product range has expanded from gland packing for ships to include gaskets, mechanical seals, and fluororesin products for semiconductor manufacturing. Throughout the years, we’ve continued our commitment to environmental protection through innovative sealing solutions.

In 2024, celebrating our 100th anniversary, Nippon Pillar Packing Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to PILLAR Corporation to reflect a century of growth and innovation.
