For over 40 years Polaris Electronics Corporation has been manufacturing Hermetic Welding Systems to the micro-electronics industries. We offer Projection Welders, Vacuum Projection Welders, Seam Sealers, Spot Welders, Lid Tackers, Gap Welders and complimentary equipment such as dry boxes, vacuum bake-out ovens and various monitors. Our in house lab allows us to perform the following Hermetic Sealing Services: Vacuum/bake-out to help remove moisture from packages Hermetic sealing in nitrogen or other inert gas environment Fine leak testing to mil-spec 883 Gross leak testing to mil-spec 883 De-lidding (to salvage electronics) We have many years of experience in welding electronic packaging including TO, DO, pin dip, pin grid array, optical, MEMS, NIR, LCC, LCOS, and butterfly to just to name a few.
